Pillow

Babybub maternity pillow + full body attachment - Every pregnant person has their favorite maternity pillow. It’s definitely going to be a Goldilocks case where you have to try out several different pillows to see which style will work for you! I absolutely love my babybub pillow. It gives me the support I need, and it’s travel friendly for all the weekend trips I’ve been taking!

Hydration

Stanley tumbler 40 Oz. - You definitely need to hydrate throughout your pregnancy. My level of thirst skyrocketed once I got pregnant. I love using my Stanley tumbler that was gifted to me by friend :). It keeps my water tasting refreshing and cold. I started drinking 70+ oz. of water a day, easily.

Anti-spill tumbler kit - The biggest drawback about the tumbler is that once you knock it over, it spills! Enter the anti-spill kit! Now, I can even pack my tumbler in my backpack and not worry about it leaking.

Clothing

Non Maternity Clothing

I was able to wear the following types of non maternity clothing: stretchy material dresses, sweater dresses, slip dresses, blazers and crop tops.

Bumpsuit Clothing

I bought a few pieces from Bumpsuit, and I absolutely love them!! I’ve worn the bumpsuits and dress a lot. They’re a bit pricier, but they’re supposed to stretch and fit you all throughout pregnancy as well as fit you postpartum. They have multiple colors to choose from.

*I bought my pieces March 2023. Those have tags that say Made in Vietnam.

*Then, I bought a few pieces in April 2023. Those have tags that say Made in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, I had to return those recent pieces because the sizing and material were totally off. The sizing was smaller and the material wasn’t very stretchy. I could barely fit the outfit with my 4 month bump. There was no way it was going to stretch with me through all 9 months. It’s a real bummer since I love my previous Bumpsuit pieces and would like to invest in more.

Leggings that Go Under Belly

When my bump was smaller, I found it more comfortable to wear leggings that fit under my belly. A legging similar to what I wore is the Motherhood Maternity Under Belly Maternity Leggings.

Leggings that Go Over Belly

As my bump grew bigger, I didn’t mind wearing leggings that went over my belly. I enjoyed wearing H&M Mama Leggings the best, because they’re a thin material that don’t have any compression.

Compression Socks

I found the charmking compression socks helpful because there were some days my feet swelled up due to the rapid increase in weight. I’d also wear them on days I knew I’d be on my feet a lot.

Pajamas

Nordstrom moonlight pajamas - Throughout most of my second trimester I was able to wear my Nordstrom pajamas, which are so comfy and stretchy!

Uniqlo Cotton Dress - I bought a loose fitting cotton dress a while back that I like to wear as my pajamas. You can find a similar style here.

Partner’s Clothing - Towards the ends of my second trimester I started wearing my partner’s shirts and boxers, because I didn’t want to buy a new set of pajamas that would only fit me for the next few months.

Bras

Coomfy nipple covers - I bought new nipple covers to accommodate my growing breasts. I utilize them as my go-to when I need a strapless bra.

Sneakers

My pregnancy shoe is the on cloudflyer 4! I needed new sneakers to support my growing weight, and I love wearing them.

Cream and Supplements

Lavender magnesium cream - I apply this cream every night on my shoulders, back, calves, and feet. The cream does help to alleviate some tension, and it smells so good! That’s not to say it’s some miracle worker and you’ll have no pain. Though I noticed the nights I skipped the cream, my back and legs felt more tense.

Iron supplements - My hematocrit was a bit low at my 26-wk appt, so my doctor recommended I take an iron supplement every other day. I make sure to take my iron w/ orange juice, because Vit C improves iron absorption. So far the supplement has been fine. It hasn’t caused any indigestion or constipation. I can’t comment yet as to whether or not my hematocrit has increased.
