Bridesmaids Dresses

I really wanted my friends to feel beautiful and stand out. My original vision was to have all the girls pick a long evening gown and/or jumpsuit in a color family such as oranges, burgundy, and reds. That way their looks would all compliment each other, but they’d be different from each other. However, when I presented this idea to my husband, I was promptly shut down. Turned out my husband had a different vision. He was pretty adamant all the ladies wear the same color gown in order for it to look clean and streamlined. I compromised - they all would wear the same color gown, but they could choose the style of their liking. This was made easy by having the girls order from Birdy Grey!

Birdy Grey Swatches: Chiffon fabric in colors champagne, ice blue, twilight and slate blue

Photo taken with natural light. This is the brightest the colors will look. The fabrics looked darker in indoor lighting.

I took selfies with the swatches, which allowed me to see how the fabric paired with my skin tone. My bridesmaids skin tones range from fair to very tan. I wanted to pick a color that would compliment all of them. I ended up choosing the color twilight, and I love how it looked on all of them! They ended up choosing the styles Jane, Devin, and Grace. Three ladies chose the style Jane and you can see how they all wore it a little differently.
