Chinese Wedding Dress Qi Pao and Qun Kwa

For my wedding, I wanted to wear a Qun Kwa for the tea ceremony and a Qi Pao during the reception. Sadly, there are no local Seattle stores I know of to buy traditional Chinese clothing. I’d recommend buying dresses online, or traveling to Canada or San Francisco.

Pricing in BC

My husband and I drove to Canada September 2021 to find our Chinese wedding attire. The general price range for the Qi Pao was $200-$300. You could also rent the Qun Kwa for $200 for 2 days or purchase it for $2,000. I haven’t been to San Francisco since 2012, so I’m sorry I can’t report what the prices are nowadays. If anybody else knows what the price range is like in SF, please chime in at the comments section!
